Car Sales in China

We’re constantly being told that China is a growing economy but after a while becomes almost meaningless until you see some figures and compare the with other countries.

Here in Australia new vehicle sales for the period from January 2009 to October 2009 totaled 80,813 units … that’s slightly up on the same period last year when new vehicle sales totaled 79,105 units.

Now compare that to China where, for the same period this year, new car sales have totaled 10.89 MILLION units … an increase of 37.7 percent on the same time last year.
