A short while ago Toyota announced that it was withdrawing from Formula 1. 2009 has not been a stellar year for Toyota and the cost of continuing can’t be justified.
Update:
In nine years Toyota spent $2.4 billion dollars on its Formula 1 campaign but never managed to win a race.
