The sale Holden Commodores into the United States … where they were to be marketed as the Pontiac G8 … was canned last year during the General Motors meltdown despite the fact that around 35,600 G8’s had been sold in the previous 18 months.
Of course that was quite a blow to Holden who were assembling the G8/Commodore at their plant in South Australia. But now there might be some good news on the horizon with GM’s Vice President suggesting that the G8 might make a return … perhaps as a Buick.
