Holden has announced that it plans to recall around 34,000 Commodore VE utes with owners being notified in the coming days.
The Holden Ute recall affects Commodore VE utes built from 2007. It seems that there may be some chance that the latching mechanism on the tailgate may be faulty and may open while the vehicle is moving.
A report in the Age suggests that this is the biggest recall in Australia this year.
