Every year the roads around Tasmania come alive with exotic machines and lots of high-adrenalin tarmac rallying when Targa Tasmania is unleashed.
This year Targa Tasmania is running from April 27 through to May 2 and Mazda is in the mix of competitors with it’s new Mazda3 MPS.
Whiel the Mazda3 MPS certainly looks hot it’s definitely not a case of all show and no go for this hot little hatch produces 190kW of poer from it’s 2.3-litre direct injection turbo engine.
Earlier versions of the Mazda3 MPS have achieved three consecutive class wins and an outright 10th place in previous Targa’s and this year Mazda is looking for an even better result.
The Mazda3 MPS is not the only factory entry … there’ll be an RX-8 SP running as well.
Mazda and Targa Tasmania
