For Toyota it’s the recall when you’re not having a recall so they’re calling it a “customer satisfaction campaign” and they’re conducting the campaign to replace a faulty coolant pump that controls the temperature of the hybrid engine.
It’s a fault that is said to affect around 650,000 vehicles worldwide with at least 390,000 in the United States.
The Toyota Prius models to be recalled were built between 2004 and 2007.
