A car jacking in Perth over the weekend came to an abrupt end when the car jacker discovered that she had no real idea of how to drive a car with a manual transmission.
Three women allegedly jacked the car but only made it 150 metres down the road before they gave up. They were arrested a short time later. I wonder if they would have even made it that far if the vehicle had been equipped with four on the column?
Perhaps we’ve reached the point where a manual transmission should be considered to be an anti-theft device.
